He is now the Assistant Chief for Bamburi sub-location and has seen his home – once stricken by poverty – transformed.
Since Haller became our friend, there have been great changes here. The community now has a regular source of income and they are sustaining their children in school. The people are no longer idle, they now have a purpose because they know how to farm better, and we are slowly getting rid of food aid dependency.
