An End to Chemicals

Farming on naturally dry landscape is difficult and Adija Karani (34) could barely grow food to feed herself and her children.

A trip to the Haller farm changed everything. Adija learned how to use compost instead of chemicals for fertiliser and now has enough food to eat… and sell. She is using that money to send her three children to school.

“Now I depend on myself and not other people, and I am helping others to do the same. This is why I enjoy farming. I also help to teach the people in my community about the things I have learnt from Haller.”
