When Haller dug a dam and built a well with the Kimbunga community, 38-year-old Musa Kitsao Baluku’s life was transformed.

His wife no longer travels 5km looking for water and after receiving farmer training at the Haller Mtopanga Demonstration Farm, Musa learned how to use water to irrigate his land. He now grows paw paws, mangos and Okra and earns enough to pay for his children to go to school. He has also built a house.
