Haller Shortlisted in Smiley Charity Film Awards

Earlier this year we launched our latest film, exploring The Haller Foundation’s roots, our impact to date on smallholder communities in Kenya, and our plans for the future. As the impacts of climate change become more acute, equipping smallholders with the knowledge and tools to farm regeneratively becomes imperative. Through our Haller Farmers App, we’re aiming to reach farmers not only in Kenya but around the world.

The Smiley Charity Film Awards is part of the Smiley Movement – a platform aiming to inspire positive change by highlighting organisations and individuals doing good in the world. Their research suggests that 92% of the public wants to do good in the world but is unsure how to – the Smiley Movement aims to fill that knowledge gap.

The Smiley Charity Film Awards are the world’s largest cause-based film festival, putting charity films on a platform and giving recognition to causes deserving of our support. Recognised by the BFI and IMBd, they have helped more than 2,500 causes reach a wider audience.

We are delighted that our film has made it to the shortlist of finalists for this year’s awards. A huge thank you to all of our supporters who voted and helped us get to this stage! While the panel of judges has the final say, we are also up for the People’s Choice Award. Voting is already open, and winners will be announced on March 21st.
