The Loss of Eric Mwangemi

It is with great sadness, that we announce that our diagnostic clinician, Eric Mwangemi, died in hospital during the early hours of Friday 22nd March 2019.

Eric had worked at the Haller clinic for 10 years. He operated to the highest standards, whilst always showing patients the care and compassion which made for a loyal following. His aim was to ensure that the diagnostic analysis he provided, would provide us with the information to treat patients with the full knowledge and evidence of their illness. He was a loyal, well respected, kind and charming man, with an amazing bedside manner with the young, frail and elderly patients who attend the clinic regularly. His recording of data, in particular the incidents of, and the prevention and treatment of malaria will have helped save many lives. He was admired by our patients in the rural communities, who would attend his regular outreach service and health talks, as well as his work in the clinic.

We thank him for his years of service with Haller, and extend our deepest condolences to his wife and family.
